The annual "Friends of Scouting" contributins campaign enable the Blue Mountain Council to continue providing an outstanding program to more than 5,000 youth in Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Columbia, Umatilla, Morrow, Wheeler, Baker, Gilliam, Wallowa, Union, Baker, and Grand Counties. Through the Scouting programs our children, families, and communities are stronger and better prepared for the future.
When you give a gift, you support:
- Scouting programs in 12 counties for more than 5,000 youth.
- Basic and advanced training for youth and adults.
- A staff to provide program and administrative support to over 2,500 Scout leaders.
- A Scout shop complete with all necessary Scouting supplies.
- Opportunity funds that provided financial assistance to needy youth and our service center.
- Maintenance operation of more than 4,000 acres of camp property and our service center.
