Programs for Boys

Tiger Cubs

Tiger Cubs BSA is a simple and fun program for first-grade (or 7-year-old) boys and their families.  The Tiger Cub Program introduces boys and their adult partners to the excitement of Cub Scouting as they "Search, Discover, and Share" together.

 

Cub Scouts

A family-and home-centered program for boys in the second through fifth grade (or 8, 9, 10 years old).  Cub Scouting's emphasis is on quality program at the local level, where the most boys and families are involved.  Fourth-and fifth-grade (or 10 year old) boys are called Webelos (WE'll BE LOyal Scouts) and participate in more advanced activities that begin to prepare them to become Boy Scouts.

Wolf Cub Scouts (second graders), Bear Cub Scouts (third graders), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth graders) meet weekly.  Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting under the direction of a Cubmaster and pack committee.  The committee includes parents of boys in the pack and members of the chartered organization.

Registration fee for one year is $10.00.

Boy Scouts

A program for boys ages 11-17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership which the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster.  (Boys also may become Boy Scouts if they have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade.)

Registration fee for one year is $10.00.

Varsity Scouting

An active, exciting program for young men ages 14-17 built around five program fields of emphasis: advancement, high adventure, personal development, service, and special programs and events.
