Martin.  The board's action followed a similar action by the executive committee of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho on July 15. <br> <br> The property, located southeast of Pendleton - almost exactly in the center of the council - consists of hills and wooded valleys ranging in elevation from approximately 2,200' to 3,400'.  The North Fork McKay Creek runs through the property and the gift includes barns, shops, and Mr. Martin's home. <br> <br> The property in currently being surveyed, but will be between 3,200 and 3,300 acres in total! <br> <br> The two councils have formed a committee to consider the remaining issues in jointly managing the property and its continued operation.  The councils will not be given full use of the land and buildings until January 2009, giving the committee time to begin the planning process for the best use of the property for the boys and girls of the Pacific Northwest. <br> <br> Current thought does... <br> <br> <a href="http://www.bmcbsa.org/martin/martin.htm" target="_blank">View pictures and more.</a> Popcorn Fund Raising Sign Up 02 July 2008 09:00 am This is just a reminder that the registration form for the popcorn sale is due by July 15th for those units wishing to receive any bonus commission.
