    What Makes a Trained Leader


    All leaders should take the following courses to be considered trained:

    Fast Start - This course should be taken immediately after agreeing to be a leader. You can find these course on-line at MyScouting.

    Youth Protection Training- This course in also an on-line course at MyScouting. All adult leaders should take this course which is good for 2 year.

    This is Scouting - This is an introduction course with a general overview of Scouting. This course is required for all leaders. This can also be found at MyScouting.

    Leader Specific Training - Leader specific trainings are a classroom based training. You can visit the Blue Mountain Council's training schedule here. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your district executive in your district.
