The award will be presented at the National Council
Meeting of the Boy Scouts of America on May 22 in San Diego,
California.
There are over a quarter of a million
volunteers in the Western Region, and only 10-12 of these awards are
presented each year, but Randy is the seventh recipient of this rare award
in the Blue Mountain Council.
The other recipients are Dr. Ralph Stevens (1949),
Dr. Eldon Grable (1984), Harold Heacock (1994), Mary Ann Price (2003),
Robert H. Purcell (2005), and Joel A. Eacker
(2007).
Please join me in congratulating Randy and Mary Ann
for this much deserved honor. Physicals for Scouts
