Race Details
Routes have been coordinated and approved through the gracious cooperation of City of Richland, private property owners, Benton County, Friends of Badger Mountain, and the Country Mercantile. All three routes start and end at the Country Mercantile on the south side of Badger Mountain.
Aid stations will be "hands-off," although runners and hikers are encouraged to be prepared and carry their own water and energy supplements.
We will start each race in waves in order to avoid congestion and keep group sizes small. Participants are encouraged to avoid gathering before their assigned start times and following the race. Top finishers will receive their medals at a later date, in order to avoid a waiting crowd while remaining participants finish their routes.
Masks will be required at the starting line, finish line, and at the aid stations.
Racing Categories
Medals will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories for both male and female participants. Individuals over Grade 12 can still participate in the 1-Mile hike or run, but there will not be awards for those adult age categories.
